📍 Reporting Location

  • Guests are required to report at our Paragliding Office in Thano, Dehradun.
  • Distance from Jolly Grant Airport: Approx. 6 km
  • Distance from Rishikesh Railway Station: Approx. 20 km
  • Our team will assist you with the check-in process and provide a short briefing about the activity and safety guidelines.

🚙 Transfer to Take-off Point

  • After the briefing, guests will be transferred from the office to the Paragliding Take-off Site.
  • Mode of transport: 4×4 Gypsy
  • Distance: Approx. 10 km mountain drive
  • Duration: 25–30 minutes
  • During the drive, guests can enjoy scenic views of the surrounding hills and valleys.

🪂 Paragliding Flight Experience

  • Once you reach the take-off point:
  • Our certified professional pilots will prepare the equipment.
  • Guests will receive a quick safety briefing and harness setup.
  • The pilot will guide you during take-off.

Who Can Participate

Paragliding is a safe and thrilling adventure activity designed for people who are physically fit and willing to experience the joy of flying. Participants must meet the following criteria:

Age Requirement

Participants should be between 14 to 55 years of age.
Minors (below 18 years) must participate with parental or guardian consent.

Weight Limit

The participant’s weight must be between 40 kg to 95 kg to ensure proper balance and safety during the Paragliding flight.

Physical Fitness

Participants should be physically fit and capable of a short run during take-off as instructed by the pilot.

Health Conditions

This activity is not recommended for individuals with:

  • Serious heart conditions

  • Severe back or spine problems

  • High blood pressure (uncontrolled)

  • Recent surgeries or injuries

  • Any medical condition that may affect safe participation

Pregnancy

Pregnant women are not allowed to participate in the paragliding activity for safety reasons.

Safety Compliance

All participants must follow the instructions of the certified pilot and ground crew before and during the flight.

Cancellation by Participant

  • 48 hours or more before the scheduled activity
    → Eligible for full refund or rescheduling (subject to availability).

  • 24–48 hours before the activity
    → 50% cancellation charges will apply.

  • Less than 24 hours before the activity
    → No refund will be provided.

  • No Show (participant does not report at the scheduled time)
    → No refund or rescheduling will be allowed.

Cancellation Due to Weather or Safety Reasons

Paragliding is a weather-dependent activity. In case the activity cannot be conducted due to unsafe weather conditions, strong winds, or technical reasons, the following options will be provided:

  • Rescheduling of the activity to the next available slot/date, or

  • Full refund of the activity amount

Cancellation by Management

The management reserves the right to cancel or postpone the activity due to:

  • Unsafe weather conditions

  • Technical issues

  • Safety concerns

  • Government restrictions or unforeseen circumstances

In such cases, participants will be offered rescheduling or a full refund.

Refund Processing

  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 5–7 working days.

  • The refund will be issued through the original mode of payment.
